This 1979 Land Rover 88 Series III was initially used by the United Kingdom’s Ministry of Defense in Belgium and Germany before being retired for civilian use. In 2005, it underwent a refurbishment by the Land Rover Centre of Huddersfield, which included a the installation of a galvanized chassis, repainting the exterior in Admiralty Blue with a Limestone tropical roof, and adding a Turner high-compression cylinder head and an overdrive unit.
